Magnet Leash Holder for Highlining

The Magnet Leash Holder keeps the leash to the side and prevents it from interfering with your highline freestyle tricks. You can easily attach the leash holder to the gear loop of your climbing harness using a girth hitch. Once attached, the leash can be secured to the holder in seconds.

The magnets are designed to be strong enough to keep the leash in place while bouncing. However, if a stronger pull is applied to the leash, the holder instantly releases it.

Of course, the leash holder can also be used when walking a highline, if you prefer to keep the leash beside your legs instead of between them.

In highline freestyle, some testers even found it useful to have two leash holders — one on the right side and one on the left — to be fully prepared for any trick.

Thanks to the leash holder, you no longer need to constantly push the leash aside over your knee, only for it to get in the way again a few bounces later.

Important Notes for Using the Magnet Leash Holder

• The leash holder contains strong magnets, which should not come into contact with electronic devices.
• In wet or humid conditions, the magnets may corrode over time — it is best to use the leash holder in dry conditions.
• The magnets contain nickel. Avoid use if you have a nickel allergy.

Can the Leash Holder Come Loose from the Climbing Harness?

Since the leash holder is attached to the climbing harness only with a girth hitch, this could theoretically happen. However, we have thoroughly tested and optimized the product. In hundreds of hours of extreme highline freestyle use, not a single leash holder has fallen off.

The opening for the girth hitch is designed to be very narrow, allowing the magnets to fit through only tightly. This also prevents the leash holder from detaching from your gear loop. If you are still concerned, you can additionally secure the leash holder loop to your gear loop with a short, thin cord.
