KingPin Weblock | For 20mm webbing

The original SLACKTIVITY aluminium shackle – the KingPin – has been upgraded! The new KingPin is a super light weblock for 20mm slackline webbings. It the same advantages as a regular weblock, but with minimal weight and higher breaking load efficiency (as a knot or ChainLock method), plus having the option to pre-tension the webbing.

The webbing can be easily pulled to the side with manual pre-tensioning. With this release system, no softrelease is needed. But we recommend using a softRelease when using a HangOver pulley with a 3: 1 ratio, since the webbing can wear out over time during the release at higher sideways tensions.

The weblock unit, the KingPin body and the pin are connected with an elastic cord so that there are no loose parts that can be lost or separated. With usage, the rubber cord can wear out, but it can be easily replaced with a standard 2mm rubber cord.

Another small feature is the option to insert/thread a cord or a 2mm safety pin through the two holes in the side panels. This can safely prevent a misalignment in rodeo lines that are attached high in the trees (and when regular control of the weblock is not possible).
