Rock Highline Kit

If you want to get started with highlining, then the Rock Highline Kit is perfect for you. This set contains all the necessary gear to rig a highline between two bolts.

To get the necessary knowhow, we recommend to you to visit one of our highline workshops or join some friends with enough experience to teach you.

This Highline Kit contains the necessary anchor gear to set it up between bolts. With the included gear you can create a sliding-X anchor for the mainline plus a sliding-X anchor for the backup.

Be aware that oftentimes the anchor points can be more complex. In that case, you will need additional gear like more slings, padding (e.g. Line Sliders) or potentially even an A-Frame.

The Highline Webbing you can get with the Rock Highline Kit

You have the choice between three different setups – all of them come with an intermittent connection which provides extra safety.

• pinkTube X LSD in 80m or 100m length
• pinkTube X PES in 80m length

The pinkTube represents the ultimate highline classic. Its exceptional stretch ensures smooth, gentle leash falls, while the lightweight design makes handling effortless. Underfoot, it feels incredibly soft—like walking on clouds—even when barefoot. Beyond comfortable walking, the pinkTube also delivers outstanding performance as a freestyle highline webbing for all skill levels.

All webbings feature sewn loops at both ends—on the mainline as well as the backup. This design makes it easy to connect additional sections whenever you want to extend your setup in the future.

If you choose the LSD version, you can easily alternate between the two webbings by simply flipping the line during rigging. The LSDTube features slightly reduced stretch and delivers an ideal bounce for highline freestyle, especially on spans between 70 and 85 meters.

With the PES version, you benefit from a slightly lighter backup webbing. However, it is strictly intended as a backup and must never be used as a mainline.

Anchor point gear

In the Rock highline kit, you have 4 stainless quicklinks per side to connect the slings with the bolts / hangers. Upon that, there are four round slings – 1 x 1m, 2 x 2m and 1x 3m. The mix of these slings allows you very versatile rigging, depending on the distance between the bolts.

Weblocks

The Rock Highline Kit includes not just one, but two seaHorses. Using a pair of weblocks is crucial for highline setups, as it enables an intermediate connection point along the span.

The seaHorse is an easy-to-use weblock with two pushpins. It is extremely efficient for pre-tensioning and still perfectly locks the webbing.

SoftRelease

The long softRelease allows you to easily de-tension even the tightest highline. Upon that, it allows you to re-tension your slackline if needed.

Shackles

KingPins are included in the Rock Highline Kit. These are the lightest shackles and at the same time they are much easier and faster to use compared to normal steel shackles. Despite their weight, they are still extremely strong.

Tensioning system

Known as the HangOver pulley system — or Buckingham System — this is the most widely used tensioning setup in the highline community. Its lightweight design allows the pulley system to be detached before stepping onto the line, keeping the setup clean and efficient.

With three HangOvers, you can build mechanical advantage systems of up to 9:1. Each pulley features four ball bearings, ensuring exceptional durability. Compared to standard pulley carabiners with only two bearings, they offer noticeably greater strength and longevity.

The system also comes complete with a T-Grip Light, a Softigging Plate, and a Chainlock.

Highline Leash

An Edelrid climbing rope with an additional mantle around. Combined with an individually tested leash ring. This leash stays strong, soft and flexible for many months.
