Traveler Lightning | 40m Slackline
A weight of just 2.32kg and a 40m slackline make the Lightning-Traveler the lightest longline set for traveling and taking with you anywhere. The legendary Lightning webbing is tensioned with a primitive and a HangOver as a multiplier.
Lightning 40m Slackline | the legendary Churfirsten webbing
This slackline set with the historic 40m slackline webbing scores with a weight of just 2.32kg and the absolutely puristic tensioning technique – the primitive. The name Lightning is obvious once you know the stories behind it. Because when Samuel Volery tried to cross the Churfirsten with a highline (Longer than Gods allow), the highline was struck by lightning and destroyed. Fortunately, without anyone being harmed. The perfect remnants of this highline webbing, which was struck by lightning, were given away to various SLACKTIVITY athletes and friends to go on a world tour with it. And so the SLACKTIVITY athletes, far away from the Swiss mountains, discovered how well this Lightning slackline is suitable for slacklining in the park, by the sea or over lakes. A primitive system was used by the athletes to tension this webbing. And the Lightning 40m Slackline Set presents itself today with various optimizations.
This ultra-light longline set is ideal to take with you when traveling or anywhere. Setting up with the primitive pulley system requires a little practice and experience. Therefore this Lightning slackline set is well suited for advanced users. Or for slackliners who might later want to go on a highline, they already have a HangOver with the purchase of the Lightning 40m slackline . In general, the slackline components contained in the set can be combined and expanded with other products.
The innovation from SLACKTIVITY, where a 5cm wide polyester flat ribbon is sewn directly to the 20mm wide polyester flat ribbon, reduces the necessary slackline components to an absolute minimum. The 5cm wide tree loops distribute the pressure optimally and thus protect the trees (note: please always use with tree protection).
The webbing is attached to a tree on one side with an integrated girth hitch with an additional protective fabric hose (orange hose, to optimize the breaking load). On the other tree, the primitive is attached to the practical, 2.5m length-adjustable SLACKTIVITY tree sling through the ConnectionLoop. The Lightning webbing itself is fixed with a ChainLock made of anodized aluminum. So that the 20mm webbing is optimally guided in the ChainLock, the set comes with a 3D printed spacer. The HangOver as a multiplier is attached to the Lightning webbing with the 6mm D-shackle and can be easily adjusted.
With the primitive setup system and the HangOver as a multiplier, the slackline can be built up to a maximum length of 36m and approx. 3kN pretensioning.
Please always use a tree guard to set up the slackline on trees. This can also be a towel folded several times. What you have to hand when traveling.
