pinkTube Slim – Narrow Nylon Tubular Webbing for Slacklining & Longlining

The pinkTube Slim is the narrower version of the popular pinkTube. Thanks to its slimmer design, the webbing catches less wind, making a noticeable difference when slacklining in the park, especially in windy conditions. It also delivers an even more playful and responsive bounce feeling.

Just like the original pinkTube, the pinkTube Slim is made from highly elastic nylon tubular webbing, rather than traditional flat webbing. Its exceptional stretch allows for huge bounces and a dynamic slacklining experience.

Weighing just 51g/m, with a compact packing size, the pinkTube Slim is lightweight and easy to carry. It’s the perfect addition to your backpack, so you’re always ready to make the most of any opportunity to slackline in the park.

The pinkTube Slim is available in 30m, 50m, 60m and 80m lengths and is particularly well suited for advanced and professional slackliners.

Setting Up the pinkTube Slim with the HangOver Pulley System

For park slacklining and longlining, the HangOver Pulley System is clearly the way to go. Most longlines are tensioned using a 3:1, 5:1 or 9:1 mechanical advantage with this method.

Like the original pinkTube, the pinkTube Slim is extremely stretchy. Therefore, when rigging in the park, the tree slings need to be attached higher than with less elastic webbing:

• 20–30m lines: approximately 2m high
• 30–50m lines: approximately 2–4m high

The ideal rigging length and anchor height depend on what you want to do on the slackline, your body weight and how many friends are helping with the tensioning process.

Since SLACKTIVITY always aims to ensure that its slackline equipment works perfectly together, we recommend using the pinkTube Slim with the seaHorse Weblock, using the appropriate spacers for 20mm webbing. This combination ensures maximum efficiency during tensioning.

Lifespan and Care

With intensive outdoor use, including when the webbing is left rigged without being loaded and exposed to wind and weather, the pinkTube Slim will gradually lose its colour due to UV exposure.

If the webbing has lost almost all its colour and becomes very stiff, this is a sign that it has reached the end of its service life for high-load applications.

At this stage, the pinkTube Slim should only be used in low-tension setups, such as a rodeoline in the park or indoors.
